Ubiquiti IS-M5 - ISOSTATION 5GHZ RJ45 POE

Shielded airMAX® radio with isolation antenna

Ubiquiti Networks launches the latest generation of AirMAX CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) with dedicated Wi-Fi management, the IsoStation ™ M5.

Improved noise immunity

The IsoStation M5 offers high isolation solutions in fixed beamwidth increments through interchangeable horn antennas that have been optimized for an urban environment. Radiation patterns tailored to the antenna spatially filter out false in-band and out-of-band radio frequency emissions to increase the IsoStation M5's noise immunity.

This feature is especially important in an increasingly congested RF environment.

ISOSTATION

Modular design

With flexible sectorization for optional antenna beam widths, the horn antenna is interchangeable and improves beamforming for specific deployment and environment needs. The IsoStation M5 uses horn antenna sectors designed for increased co-location performance without sacrificing gain.

Providing high performance and an innovative form factor, the IsoStation M5 is versatile and cost effective to deploy.

Symmetrical antennas

Symmetrical horn antennas (30 ° and 45 ° versions) offer revolutionary scalability options for wireless systems. They are ideal for cluster sector installations with high co-location requirements.

Unique beam performance and excellent co-location characteristics enable higher sector density than traditional industry technology.

ISO-M5

Asymmetric antennas

Asymmetric horn antennas (60 ° and 90 ° versions) are designed to have attenuated side lobes and extremely low back radiation. They offer the best front-to-rear ratio in the industry and the lowest side lobe radiation.

Optional mounting accessory

You can use the UBN-IS-MB to improve your equipment grip.

AirMAX technology included

Unlike the standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti's AirMAX Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) protocol allows each client to send and receive data using predefined time intervals programmed by an intelligent AP controller.

This time-slot method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. Provides significant performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability over all other outdoor systems in its class.

Smart QoS with voice / video priority for
continuous flow.
High capacity and scalability.
Long distance, carrier-class links.

Hardware overview

Using airMAX technology, the IsoStation M5 supports up to 100 Mbps of true TCP / IP transfer. It also offers the following features:

Interchangeable horn antennas for
Improved beam formation
Horn power comes directly from the radio
input / output to remove connectors
Single button release for easy antenna change
All Shielded Metal Radio Base
Metal strap for quick pole mounting

Improved shared location:

The two available 60º and 90º cone antenna options have naturally attenuated side lobes and low back radiation, offering an industry leading front-to-back ratio, and low radiation to the side lobes.

Symmetrical cone antennas (30º and 45º option by default), are ideal for cluster installations with a large number of antennas in the same location.

software

AirOS® is an intuitive, versatile and highly developed Ubiquiti firmware technology. It is exceptionally intuitive and was designed to require no training to operate. Behind the user interface is a powerful firmware architecture, enabling the creation of high-performance outdoor multipoint networks.

• Protocol support
• Channeling of Ubiquiti
• Spectral Width Adjustment
• ACK Auto-Timing
• AAP technology
• Support for multiple languages

airView

Integrated into all Ubiquiti M products, AirView® offers advanced spectrum analyzer functionality: cascade, waveform, and real-time spectral views allow operators to identify noise signatures and plan their networks to minimize noise interference.

Cascade Add energy over time for each frequency.
Waveform The accumulated energy is collected.
Real-time energy is displayed in real-time based on frequency.
Recording Automate airView to record and report results.

U Mobile App

The U®Mobile app can access the IsoStation M5 once it has been set up on the same Wi-Fi network as your mobile device. (The original configuration is done through your browser).

The U Mobile app provides instant access to the airOS setup interface and can be downloaded from the app store (iOS) or Google Play ™ (Android). U Mobile allows you to configure and manage the IsoStation M5 and offers various configuration options once connected or connected.

ISO-M5 RJ45

Integrated management network

The Ubiquiti IsoStation integrates an independent Wireless network to speed up and facilitate the installation of the equipment with a mobile device

Improved colocation

The asymmetric antenna options (60 ° and 90 °) naturally provide a more attenuated radiation lobe and lower return energy. The asymmetric antenna options (30 ° and 45 ° default option) are ideal for central clusters with a high density of devices close to each other.

Improved noise immunity

The Ubiquiti IsoStation spatially blocks or filters noise, so noise immunity is greatly improved. Such functionality is especially important in high density areas with other signals working at similar frequencies.
